Republican - American Taliban

Yes, they are. But if anyone of you have any doubts, then you probably live in cesspool America become.

Trump and Republicans' statements praising the terror group are all the more noteworthy given the GOP's years of chest-thumping about the threat of "radical Islamic terrorism."

Less than a month out from the 20th anniversary of the terror attacks, many prominent Republicans, including the leader of the party, are striking a markedly different tone about the Taliban as they criticize Biden over the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.

And yet, in just the days since the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan, some Republicans have used the conflict to accuse others of harboring anti-American sentiment.

One recipient of these bad-faith attacks was CNN's Clarissa Ward, who has risked her security to broadcast a series of devastating reports from on the ground in Kabul and been accosted by militants.

This is not the first time that right-wing American extremists have been inspired by Muslim militants; several white supremacists lauded Al Qaeda’s attacks on Sept. 11. The Florida Republican Matt Gaetz may be a clown, but he’s also a congressman who was close to the previous president. On Twitter earlier this month, Gaetz described the Taliban, like Trump, as “more legitimate than the last government in Afghanistan or the current government here.”

“We’ve come across a lot of content that’s U.S.-based extreme far-right websites saying how good the Taliban victory is, and why it’s good for their cause,” said Adam Hadley, director of Tech Against Terrorism. One neo-Nazi website, which I won’t link to, has a tract hailing the Taliban victory in part for showing that a small band of armed fundamentalists can defeat the American empire.

Not convinced yet. Okay how about the latest Texas Law got Taliban in the state of shock. Yes, devoted Taliban follower who believes Taliban didn't go far enough to deny women human rights Republican Governor of Texas Greg Abbott decided to show Taliban how real men should treat women.

The same politicians who declare that mask requirements are an intolerable intrusion by government into sacrosanct individual freedom, have just imposed the country's most restrictive abortion law SB8, went into effect because the US Supreme Court and a federal appeals court refused to stop it.

So Mr. and Mrs. America, do you wanna talk about how badly Taliban has been treating their women? Really?
